- Pro Tools 10: Macintosh HD/Users/<your username>/Library/Preferences/DAE Prefs
- Pro Tools 11 and above: Macintosh HD/Users/<your username>/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools
- Delete the files
- Pro Tools 10: Installed plug-ins
- Pro Tools 11 and above: InstalledAAXPlugIns
- Re-open Pro Tools
How to navigate to the user Library folder
- In the Finder Select the Go menu from the main menubar
- Hold the Alt key and select the new Library item which appears

- Navigate to
- Pro Tools 10: Program Files (x86)\Avid\Pro Tools\DAE\DAE Prefs
- Pro Tools 11 and above: \Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools
- Delete the file
- Pro Tools 10: Installed plug-ins
- Pro Tools 11 and above: InstalledAAXPlugins
- Re-open Pro Tools
